3 Tests for the Vuly Slam Pro Basketball Hoop

Any opportunity to get the kids playing outdoors and away from their screens is a plus for us so when Vuly Play offered us the opportunity to review their Slam Pro Basketball Hoop we were in!

Here’s the 3 tests we put it through…

1. Does it look Good?

Considering this has to stay constantly erected in your outdoors area for the length of play you want this Basketball Hoop to look good.This hoop would look good anywhereIts bright orange detail is modern and hip and the base of the hoop also features a ball holder, foot stand, parking break, and pump holder, all super convenient. I'm quite happy to have the Vuly Slam Pro Basketball Hoop erected in front of our house.

2. Is it Sturdy enough?

It took us a good hour or two to assemble but you could tell the quality of the gear when you put it together. You'll need two people, if not three, to complete the assembly and lift it into place.

The base incorporates a sturdy steel chassis and doesn’t require tie down points to stabilize it, which means nothing to trip over when you are playing near the bottom.

There are three main struts in the middle of the hoop that help provide it with stability and the backboard is wide and is made of perforated steel allowing the wind to pass through.

3. Is it easy to Use?

Nothing is more frustrating than wanting to move your Basketball Hoop to another prime spot once the game begins. Thankfully the wheels on the base make it easy to push into another position – simply press a lever and push the hoop in one-piece.
